VISION TRIMAX 35KB WHEELSET

The Trimax 35 KB is a lightweight allround wheelset that satisfies riders with higher demands. Its 30 mm deep aluminium rims have a 18.9 mm wide (internal) rim profile to allow for a comfortable ride and they are road tubeless ready. The unique R06 interspoke milling helps reduce weight to increase acceleration and easier climbing. Furthermore the rim surface features PEO hard coating for extended durability.
Add in the revised P.R.A. hubset with ACB bearings (2 FW + 4 RW), ABS self locking nipples and aero straight pull spokes to these hand built wheels and you have a wheelset ready to take you anywhere you want to go. The Preload Reduction Assembly called system applies a preload to the hubs via threaded clamps. The delivery includes 2 high-quality QR-65 aluminium quick releases and rim tapes. Finish rims: PEO hard coating hubs: CNC-machined and black anodized, spokes/nipples: black.

P.R.A. Hubset

The Preload Reduction Assembly called system applies a preload to the hub bearings via threaded clamps. It provides a bearing adjustment without dismounting. Furthermore the revised hubs are featuring more durable ACB steel-bearings (2 front, 4 rear), a larger drive-side flange and an increased flange width.

PEO Coating

Plasma electrolytic oxidation (PEO) is an electrochemical surface treatment process for generating oxide coatings on metals. It is similar to anodizing, but it employs higher potentials, so that discharges occur and the resulting plasma modifies the structure of the oxide layer. This process can be used to grow thick largely crystalline, oxide coatings on metals such as aluminium and titanium. Because they can present high hardness and a continuous barrier, these coatings can offer protection against wear, corrosion or heat as well as electrical insulation.
