New Maxxis FOREKASTER 29x2.40 WT EXO TR tire DUAL compound, Tubeless Ready 60Tpi casing and EXO reinforced shoulder (for MTB 29" downcountry, xc).
The new Forekaster is aimed at modern short-travel (100mm-130mm) trail MTBs, aka the “downcountry” segment.
Intended to be a "Goldilocks" tire, the new Forekaster rolls fast but also offers solid cornering and braking traction in a wide range of trail conditions both dry and wet.

Exo Protection is a material added to the sidewalls of selected mountain bike tires that is extremely resistant to cuts and abrasions. This layer is obtained with a super light and highly flexible dense weave that does not affect the performance of the cover.

Tubeless Ready, Maxxis TR tubeless ready tires and tires have the same advantages as UST Tubeless tires without being penalized by the greater weight. The use of the sealing liquid / latex prevents pin punctures. If necessary, the maxxis TR can also be used with an inner tube.

WT Wide Trail, The new Maxxis WT are optimized for rims with an internal width of 30-35mm, in the same way they work satisfactorily even with 25mm ones.
