IAV Power System & Oval Chainring Compatibility

Standard power meters calculate power using the average angular velocity of the pedal stroke, introducing margins of error during sudden sprints or when using non-round chainrings. The Assioma PRO RL-2 utilizes the patented IAV (Instantaneous Angular Velocity) Power system, backed by a built-in three-axis gyroscope and cadence sensor. By measuring the exact instantaneous angular velocity throughout the pedal stroke, it ensures an accuracy of $\pm1\%$ in any race or training scenario and is 100% compatible with oval chainrings.

Advanced Cycling Dynamics & Data Channels
