E-25
For e-bike tires Continental draws on over 100 years of experience with tires for mopeds and motorcycles. All city/trekking tires reach at least the standard up to 25 km/h. Tires marked E50 are also approved for S-pedelecs. Thanks to their high-quality construction, they have high puncture protection, low rolling resistance and protection against premature wear due to the additional driving force.

PureGrip mix
Based on the activated silica compound, we have deliberately worked to achieve a compound technology in the performance segment. After intensive development work, the result of our research and development department in Korbach has led to a new compound technology with excellent grip and cross-country properties. The new rubber compound, explicitly named "PureGrip", comes after our BlackChili compound and is used in high-performance products in the race and mountain bike segments. Here it guarantees long-lasting traction and high mileage of Continental tires, produced exclusively in the Hefei (Asia) plant.

ShieldWall system
The Continental TERRA TRAIL SHIELDWALL system optimally combines high puncture protection and best rolling ability with low weight. This is made possible by an additional layer of puncture protection that runs along the entire tire and consists of a finely woven cross fabric. This gives the tire high resistance to punctures and injuries. Despite the additional ply, the tire has excellent cushioning properties and high flexibility to adapt perfectly to the surface. The revolutionary Tubeless Ready foot makes tire mounting easy and simple. Conti Revo-Sealant seals reliably.
