The latest generation of the REACTO builds upon its legendary predecessor, introducing fundamental changes that further improve aerodynamics, reduce weight, and offer tire clearance up to 32 mm, all while maintaining the comfort and control for which the REACTO is world-renowned.

Development & Innovation: Four Years of Perfection

The REACTO V was completely redesigned through a project that began in May 2022. Over nearly four years of development, numerous tube profile variations were calculated and tested via CFD analysis to achieve optimal aerodynamic harmony and the perfect balance of stiffness.

A total of four extensive wind tunnel sessions were conducted to verify simulation results, while Merida's long-standing testing partner, the Zedler Institute, supported trials in their internal laboratory. This meticulous process resulted in a frame that is incredibly fast, light, and technically superior.

Tested Beyond Industry Standards

While speed is the goal, Merida refuses to sacrifice durability. Despite an extremely competitive frame and fork weight, the REACTO is tested according to the Zedler Road Advanced+ standard, one of the most stringent in the industry. This standard simulates loads exceeding the ISO requirements used by many competitors and allows for a maximum system weight of 120 kg (bike + rider), ensuring a stable and safe ride in every situation.
