When designing the Specialissima, Bianchi thought not only about the climbs, but also about the road ahead before and after. In addition to flying uphill, the new Specialissima expresses itself best in long flat valleys and on fast, technical descents: this is why the frame and components have been optimized and designed with aerodynamic performance in mind.

The result is a bicycle that distances itself from the previous generation of Specialissima, both in climbing and in aerodynamic effectiveness. We can say it with pride: Specialissima RC is the new generation allrounder. Without compromises.

The new Specialissima says no to any compromise, guaranteeing you a winning weapon for tackling major mountains and slopes. The entire Specialissima bike system weighs just 6.6 kg, and thanks to an excellent reactivity/weight ratio it is precisely uphill that it expresses its best. The frame and its components have been optimized on an aerodynamic level to shine even on the flats and on the technical descents encountered before and after the climb.

The overall weight of the new Specialissima is 6.6 kg, with a variation of +/- 5%. Achieving superior aerodynamic performance without compromising weight required a redistribution of material from the rear to the front of the bike, with ultra-thin seatstays and slimmer chainstays, as well as a more generous head tube shape for better aerodynamic penetration .

Even the special painting of the Specialissima RC model allows for an additional 40 grams to be eliminated compared to the other color variants. The expert Bianchi painters have created fascinating transitions and shades on the frame. Very special to convey a further sense of lightness, accentuated by the use of iridescent paints that recall a multitude of shades.

In the RC and Pro versions, the unpainted parts with exposed carbon create a contrast in texture and aesthetics, and the matte finishes also help to underline the sense of lightness and airiness.
Purple and green accents are combined with a modern interpretation of Celeste, a new metallic version of Bianchi's symbolic colour, however also used in the original CK16 variant.
