Zipp redesigned the rim geometry from scratch based on a core realization: traditional gravel wheels use adapted road rims, whereas the 303 XPLR is built exclusively to unlock the full potential of high-volume gravel tires (40 mm to 60 mm).

This wheelset comes from an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) take-off lot: the wheels are factory brand-new, never ridden, removed directly from a brand-new complete bike in our workshop. They are not delivered in the commercial Zipp retail box, but are carefully packaged by Ciclobottega prior to shipment.
