Buyer’s Guide
Step-Through vs. Step-Over: 'Step-through' frames offer easy mounting/dismounting (ideal for casual wear), while 'step-over' frames often provide a slightly sportier feel.
Tire Width: Wider tires (35mm-42mm) are better for absorbing bumps, cobblestones, and tram tracks common in city environments.
Gearing: For flat cities, a 7-8 speed system is perfect. If your commute involves hills, look for a wider range of 10-11 speeds.

Can I add a child seat to these bikes? Most of our city bikes from Bianchi and Merida are compatible with standard rear-mounted child seats.
Are these bikes heavy? Modern aluminum frames have made city bikes remarkably lightweight and easy to carry up stairs if needed.
Is the bike shipped fully assembled? The bike is 95% assembled. You will only need to straighten the handlebars and install the pedals—we provide all necessary instructions.
Bicycle Shipping and Assembly Policy
All bicycles purchased from CicloBottega are thoroughly inspected and pre-assembled by our technicians before shipping. However, for packaging requirements and transport safety, some components (typically the handlebars, front wheel, and saddle) are disassembled.
Please Note: Despite pre-assembly, the mechanical stress and vibrations typical of courier transit may cause slight misalignments. It is possible that derailleur cable tension or the centering of hydraulic brake calipers may require adjustment upon arrival.
To ensure maximum safety and to maintain the validity of your warranty, the bicycle must not be considered ready to ride. It is the buyer's responsibility to have the assembly verified and completed by qualified technical personnel before using the bike on the road.
